Otti Hails INEC, Congratulates Soludo on Re-election

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a credible and hitch-free governorship election in Anambra State.

In his congratulatory message to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on his re-election, Otti described the smooth conduct of the poll as a sign of progress in Nigeria’s democratic process.

He applauded INEC for the timely release of results, noting that the electoral body’s efficiency has further strengthened public confidence in the nation’s electoral system.

“The best and easiest way to deepen our democracy is to allow the people to freely choose their leaders through the ballot at all times,” Otti said.

The Abia governor also lauded Soludo’s landslide victory, describing it as a reflection of the people’s trust in his leadership and the achievements recorded during his first term in office.

Otti urged the Anambra governor to consolidate on his gains and extend an olive branch to his opponents, stressing that inclusive governance would fast-track the state’s development.

“The olive branch will ensure that a stronger, development-oriented synergy is built when everyone who has something to offer for the progress of Anambra State is part of governance,” he added.
