ABUJA — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reaffirmed that Nigeria achieves its greatest progress when all levels of government work in unity, pledging continued collaboration with states committed to human, social, and economic development.

Speaking after a meeting with Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday, Tinubu said their discussions focused on deepening democracy, tackling insecurity, and sustaining ongoing economic reforms.

In a post on his official X handle, the president described Soludo as “a friend of over two decades” and praised his progressive approach to governance.

“We discussed the bold reforms underway, the need to stay the course, and the importance of tackling insecurity through both decisive action and inclusive opportunities for our teeming youth,” Tinubu wrote.

He stressed that his administration remains open to working with any state that prioritises national development goals. “Nigeria’s progress is strongest when we work together,” the president declared.

Tinubu also assured Nigerians that his government’s policies are aimed at achieving long-term prosperity for all citizens. “We will continue to take a bet on our dear country, Nigeria, to ensure sustainable and shared prosperity for the future,” he said.
