Nigeria’s Insecurity Is Politically Engineered, Says APC Chieftain Joe Igbokwe

0

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe, has alleged that the persistent security challenges in Nigeria are largely man-made and driven by political interests.

In a statement shared via his official Facebook page, Igbokwe accused some politicians of deliberately fueling unrest, particularly after losing elections. He claimed that such individuals sponsor acts of violence in a bid to destabilize the system and gain political advantage.

According to him, these actors recruit and manipulate vulnerable youths to create insecurity, which he described as an attempt to “score cheap political points.”

Despite his concerns, Igbokwe expressed confidence that such efforts would ultimately fail, stressing that those seeking to plunge the country into chaos would not succeed.

He maintained that “evil cannot triumph over good,” adding that the nation would overcome the challenges posed by politically motivated insecurity.
