ABUJA — The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Felix Morka, has declared that Nigeria’s economy is now firmly on solid ground, crediting the Tinubu administration’s policies for stabilizing the country.
Morka made the remarks on Monday during an interview on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, where he insisted that the government had successfully pulled the nation back from the brink of collapse.
“We are actually getting past renewed hope; this is hope coming alive. The economy today is standing on solid ground,” Morka said.
According to him, the administration inherited an economy in “shambles” but has since undertaken a fundamental reconstruction to restore stability.
He further cited former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Lamido Sanusi, who recently credited government policies with saving the nation from collapse.
“This government is really taking an economy that was in shambles and began to renovate and reconstruct the economy at its foundation,” he added.
