President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan has fled the Presidential Palace in Aghanistan  and currently on the run. The president fled just as Taliban has taken over Kabuk, the Aghan capital, with all the borders under  its control.

According to CNN, the only way to leave the country is if the individual is able to get the Kabul International Airport. We gathered that flag of the United States has been lowered inside the US embassy in Kabul, with most of the staff already evacuated.

The United States has also alerted Americans in Aghanistan that a shopper is available for immediate evacuation in Kabul. Thousands of Aghan translations are reportedly trapped in their homes.

In a statement, the Taliban said they are talking and awaiting a peaceful transfer – a transition of the capital city.” It said it has no plans to take the Afghan capital “by force”.

“Negotiations are under way to ensure that the transition process is completed safely and securely, without compromising the lives, property and honour of anyone, and without compromising the lives of Kabulis,” a Taliban statement said.

They have asked everyone to remain in their homes.

Meanwhile, Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken said the United States is considering moving about 5000 forces to Aghanistan.

The United States under the Donald Trump withdrew about 2500 forces from Afhanistan after equipping the Afghan army with a standing Air Force.
