TCN-Denies-Shut-Down-Of-National-Grid

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has denounced a false and completely deceptive web story claiming that its Head of Public Affairs had said that a national blackout would occur due to the ongoing statewide labour strike.

“The statement is mischievous and baseless as TCN, through the Public Affairs Head, did not make such a statement,” the management declared.

“We officially declare that the country’s grid is operational and that distribution load centres around the country are receiving bulk electricity.

“The TCN National Control Centre Osogbo, which oversees bulk power transmission across the country, is actively operating as of the time this statement was issued.”
