Revealed: Tinubu’s Approach to Cabinet Appointment

0

To manage the political interest groups that assisted him in realizing his lifelong goal of becoming president, President Bola Tinubu devised a plan that put his dream to lead Nigeria into a new era of growth at risk.

According to sources, Tinubu, who is widely credited—rightly or wrongly—as the creator of modern Lagos, is determined to make history by guiding Nigeria into a new period of development with some of the brightest minds in the nation.

Tinubu, who is known as one of the nation’s most accomplished political godfathers, has devised a double approach of “giving to politicians what belongs to them and giving to develop what is required.

“It has been discovered that Tinubu wants to use his well-known talent for finding smart people to attract Nigerians both inside and outside the nation to support his dream. The president would not let his political base down by offering them positions that would divert attention from the main goals of government.

“The president will appease the political base, and I can guarantee you that they will be pleased. However, the primary facilitators of governance and growth will be those key advisers that the president will keep near to him to advance his core developmental aims.

“Everyone will be pleased with this twofold technique,” the source said.

Despite signs that he may close some agencies, Vanguard says that the dissolution is anticipated to create at least 2,000 new jobs that will quickly fulfill the demands of the political base. Additionally, the president is under pressure to recall ambassadors chosen by the preceding Muhammadu Buhari government.

According to Saturday Vanguard, some of the diplomats have already started a desperate plan to support themselves till next year, when most of them are due.
