Prince Jide Kosoko, a legendary Nigerian actor and film director, has congratulated the immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, on his 60th birthday. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Prince Kosoko said it is his pleasure to wish Fashola, a former Governor of Lagos State, a happy birthday and many more fruitful years on earth.
According to him, Fashola has been a source of encouragement, a trailblazer in performance, and a brilliant example of how public office may be used to advance the course of society and mankind since bursting into public life and office. “It gladdens my heart to wish my brother, the former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde, a happy 60th birthday,” Prince Kosoko said in the statement.
“Over the years, Fashola has demonstrated that public office can be used for the benefit of the people and society.” This he demonstrated while serving as governor of Lagos State for eight years and as a super minister for another eight years. Those who had the opportunity to meet him up close will attest to his modest demeanor and remarkable dedication to the cause of society and humanity.
“On his 60th birthday, I can only wish him many more years of good health, more productive years of service to humanity, and greater heights in his personal and public endeavors.”
