The father of the late Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has said if he could see his son one more time, he would have warned him to be careful of women.
“If I can see Mohbad one more time, I’ll tell him to be careful of the woman he marries. His wife and the wife’s parents did more damage. They intend to eat what they want to eat because he’s a celebrity and can also pass him to someone else to collect what they want to collect.
“They called me that they wanted to do an introduction. On my way going, it changed to an engagement and I asked my son and he said their mum said so. Mohbad was quiet throughout the process,” he said.
Why he is saying this months after his son’s death is unknown, but remember that Mohbad allegedly died on September 12, 2023, after an unlicensed nurse gave him a yet-to-be-identified injection.
