Priestba Anthony-Nwokocha, the director of News of the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, has reportedly been abducted by gunmen in Port Harcourt. According to Pastor Ebi Ogolo, Director of Administration at RSBC, who informed journalists of the event, Anthony-Nwokocha was abducted on Friday night between Slaughter and the YKC neighbourhood in Port Harcourt.
On her way home from work, the director, according to Ogolo, was abducted.
He begged security organizations to step in immediately and facilitate her fast and secure release.
The Rivers State Police Command has been informed about the kidnapping in the interim, but a formal statement from them has not yet reached journalists.
