General Brice Nguema, the Transition President of the Republic of Gabon, has set all General Directors a 48-hour deadline to return stolen funds to government coffers.

He gave the warning following his inauguration during a meeting with government leaders.

“Any Director General in this room who is aware of his misdeeds must repay the funds and provide an explanation within 48 hours; please come yourself as we know who you are.”

“You’ll notice the change if you don’t show up to the services (B2, DGR, or DGSS) within 48 hours,” Nguema said.
