Filling stations adjust pump prices, sell petrol at N162

Filling stations in Lagos and Ogun states have adjusted their pump prices and now selling the Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) at between N150 and N162 per litre.

This is happening just 24 hours after the announcement of the increase in ex-depot price of the product.

Some filling stations like Fatgbems have started selling a litre of petrol at N162; NNPC, N160; Oando, N150 and Mobil, N159.90.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, had earlier increased the price at which it sells the product to marketers from N138.62 per litre to N147.67 hence the pump price of PMS hit N160 per litre.

It would be recalled that on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, the Petroleum Products Marketing Company, a subsidiary of the NNPC, made an increase in the ex-depot price of the PMS to N151.56 per litre.
