Fiery Cleric Fada Ebube Muonso Slams Governor Soludo Over Anambra’s Insecurity, Lack of Projects

Renowned Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly known as Fada Ebube Muonso, has intensified his criticism of Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, accusing him of failing to deliver on developmental projects and effectively tackling insecurity in the state.

Speaking during a sermon at his parish in Uke, Idemili South Local Government Area, on Wednesday, Fr. Obimma lamented the deteriorating state of Anambra, asserting that it now lags behind other South-East states in infrastructure and governance.

“In Enugu, the president recently commissioned several notable projects. But in Anambra, what do we have to commission?” the priest queried. “Under Soludo, there’s nothing to show except the blood of innocent citizens killed by kidnappers. Even the roads being constructed are substandard. Go and see them for yourself.”

This pointed criticism follows a wave of kidnappings in the state, including the abduction of two Reverend Sisters in Ajalli earlier in the week. Fr. Obimma expressed frustration over the government’s perceived failure to address these security challenges, which he claims have plunged Anambra into chaos.

The fiery cleric also responded to remarks from the state’s Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, who recently described him as a “false prophet” in a published article.

“One good thing is that I’m the one they’re attacking,” Obimma declared. “Instead of focusing on solving the insecurity problem, they are busy targeting a man of God. Those media rats writing nonsense against me will meet their end soon.”

Fr. Obimma’s rebuke has added fuel to his ongoing feud with Governor Soludo, as the state grapples with mounting concerns over governance and public safety.
