COVID-19: Presidential Task Force briefs Buhari


Members of the Presidential Task Force, PTF, on COVID-19 briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, on the progressive efforts they have made to curtail the further spread of the novel coronavirus and also the way forward.

The meeting which held inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was led by the Chairman of the PTF and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.

Other members in attendance at the meeting include the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire; the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Chikwe Ihekweazu; and the PTF’s national coordinator, Sani Aliyu.

This meeting is in preparation of Thursday’s announcement of new protocols by the task force.
