Breaking: Protesters storm Lagos streets, demand end to bad governance

As Nigeria marks its 60th Independence, some youths numbering about two hundred,  hit the streets of Lagos State on Thursday, October 1 2020, to demand an end to bad governance and leadership in the country.

The youths who said they’re #RevolutionNow protesters lamented Nigeria’s socio-economic development has been mired by bad leadership after the country gained independence from Britain and after 20 years of steady Democratic rule.

However, the organizer, Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate was inclusive and similar protests are also taking place in some states across the country.
