On Thursday June 22, 2023, at about 12pm bandits stormed into Sabon Layi village, Kaduna, and started shooting sporadically, killing three farmers in the process.
These victims are Anas Sabonlayi, Abubakar Dankibiya, and Harisu Un-Guwar Lemu.
Although the police and the Birnin-Gwari local government authorities are yet to make any comment on the incident, a renowned community leader, Anas Musa, confirmed the attack to Channels Television on Friday saying they’re still trying to ascertain the total number of people kidnapped.
Kaduna, a North-Western state is one of the many that has been hit by terrorist attacks in the past few months, coupled with the jihadist conflict that has been going on since 2009, killing over 40,000 people.
