The family of late Nollywood actress and movie director, Allwell Ademola, has announced her burial arrangements, one week after her sudden death.
In a statement that has gone viral online, the family disclosed that Ademola will be laid to rest on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos State.
According to the arrangements, a service of songs, candlelight procession, and artistes’ night will take place on Thursday, January 8, at LTV8, Lagos, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
DAILY POST reports that the 49-year-old filmmaker died of a heart attack on December 27, 2025.
Her death came as a rude shock to her family, colleagues, and fans across the country. Several Nollywood stars, including Iyabo Ojo, Funke Akindele, Femi Adebayo, Biola Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, and Toyin Abraham, took to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to the late actress.
