Kaduna CAN Pledges Prayers, Backs Gov. Uba Sani

KADUNA — The Kaduna State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has pledged its continuous prayers and support for Governor Uba Sani, commending his efforts at fostering unity, peace, and development across the state.

In a letter dated August 18, 2025, and signed by its chairman, Rev. (Dr) Caleb Maáji Bawa, CAN described the governor’s leadership as “crucial” to the stability and progress of Kaduna State, assuring him of the association’s partnership in promoting peace and development.

“Your leadership is crucial in fostering unity, peace, and development in Kaduna State, and we pledge to stand with you in prayers as you navigate the challenges of governance,” the letter read in part.

The association lauded Governor Sani’s commitment to infrastructure development, particularly his recent approval of the rehabilitation of key roads, including the PAN Drive–Television Garage–Sabo Road, Samrada–Romi–Karatudu–Gonin Gora Road, and Nasarawa–UNTL–Zenith Bank Road.

“This gesture is a testament to your administration’s commitment to providing infrastructure that enhances the quality of life for all residents of Kaduna State,” CAN noted.

CAN also expressed confidence that with God’s grace, the state would witness “unprecedented growth and prosperity” under Governor Sani’s stewardship.
