The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the sale of application documents for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) admissions for the 2026/2027 academic session.
In a statement released on the Board’s official X handle and signed by Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB invited applications from qualified candidates seeking admission into Nigerian tertiary institutions.
The Board outlined age eligibility, stating that “only candidates who will not be less than 16 years old by 30th September, 2026 are generally eligible to apply.” However, underage candidates may apply under strict conditions, including scoring at least 80% in UTME/A-LEVEL, PUTME, SSCE, and an exceptional candidate assessment. UTME results for underage applicants will be released only after the completion of the evaluation process.
