Fresh Tension in Senate as Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Clashes with Colleague

0

Abuja — The lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has again been involved in a heated confrontation with a fellow senator, marking the second such incident within a week.

The latest altercation reportedly occurred in the office of Benue West senator, Titus Zam. A video circulating online captured a tense exchange during which Akpoti-Uduaghan was heard saying, “I have your mate at home,” amid raised voices.

Details surrounding the cause of the disagreement remain unclear as of press time, and neither party has issued an official statement addressing the incident.

The development comes barely one week after the Kogi Central senator engaged in a verbal exchange with Imo North senator, Patrick Ndubueze, during proceedings at the National Assembly.

The back-to-back confrontations have drawn attention to rising tensions within the Senate, prompting calls from observers for improved decorum and constructive engagement among lawmakers.

Further details are expected as more information emerges.
