BREAKING: INEC declares Fintiri winner of Adamawa gov election

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has urged Nigerians to remain hopeful amid current challenges, assuring that difficult times are temporary and will ultimately yield positive outcomes.

In an Easter goodwill message to Christians, the governor called on citizens to reflect on the suffering and resurrection of Jesus Christ, noting that the season symbolizes the triumph of perseverance over hardship.

“As we enter this Easter season, we are reminded of sacrifice and the ultimate price paid by Jesus Christ for our peace and redemption. His death was for healing, not destruction,” Fintiri said.

The message, conveyed on Thursday evening through his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, emphasized the need for unity and collective responsibility in building a stronger Adamawa State. He encouraged residents to work together in fostering a society marked by peace and mutual respect.

Fintiri also urged Christians to embody the spirit of Easter by showing compassion and extending support to the less privileged, in line with the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.

He further stressed the importance of translating faith into action, noting that true religious commitment should be evident in how individuals live and interact with others.

While extending his Easter greetings, the governor called on citizens to distinguish themselves through impactful actions that positively affect society.

“May this Easter bring blessings, peace, and joy to all,” he prayed.
