In a statement issued on Thursday in Kaduna by Lt.-Col. Ajemusu Jingina, Acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for the division, the exercise is aimed at improving the marksmanship proficiency of officers and soldiers, as well as evaluating the operational condition of their weapons.

The Army reassured residents of NAF Base, Mando, and surrounding communities not to panic at the sound of gunfire or the movement of troops and military equipment during the exercise period.

It also advised members of the public to avoid the shooting range area throughout the duration of the exercise to ensure safety.

The division expressed appreciation for the continued cooperation and understanding of the public.
