Nigerian music superstar Davido has revealed the purpose behind his recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, describing it as an exchange of ideas centered on global progress and collaboration.
The 32-year-old Afrobeat icon made the disclosure in a post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday evening, where he expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage with the French leader.
“It was an honour meeting @EmmanuelMacron and sharing our visions for a better world,” Davido wrote, accompanying the post with photos from the meeting.
The encounter, which took place in France, was attended by Davido’s manager Asa Asika and popular nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest, who joined the discussion on creative industry partnerships and youth empowerment.
