The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has once again increased the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), marking the third adjustment in just one week.
The refinery announced on Monday that the gantry price of PMS has risen to N1,175 per litre from N995 per litre on Friday, representing an 18.1% increase in just three days.
In addition, the gantry price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel) has also been revised upward to N1,620 per litre.
This latest hike follows previous adjustments, with PMS climbing from N874 per litre over the weekend to N995, a surge that has already pushed fuel pump prices above N1,000 nationwide, according to DAILY POST reports.
The rapid succession of price increases underscores mounting pressures on motorists and businesses alike amid rising energy costs.
