Grace Chalya Silas, a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, was brutally murdered in Kaduna State by perpetrators who have not yet been identified but are thought to be armed robbers.
At the time this report was filed, the incident’s specifics were still hazy, but it was learned that the University of Jos grad was attacked and robbed on Wednesday morning, October 18, 2023, while running.
In the meantime, her friends and old classmates have posted condolences on Facebook.
“No na. What is really happening to Jossite and Special Education department! We haven’t finished mourning Kekefas Emmanuel and now it’s Chalya, brutally killed in Kaduna during her morning jogging while serving her father land. May your killer’s know no peace chalya. This is too much to bear,” one Comfort Elisha wrote.
