Strengthening the Youth-Security Nexus
Dr. Olawale, a renowned philanthropist and founder of the Sam Anisulowo Foundation, brings a wealth of experience in community empowerment and social intervention. In his new role as Director, he will serve as the Chief Executive and Security Officer for CONYSSA in the diaspora.
His mandate includes:

  • International Engagement: Building structured diplomatic channels between Nigerian youths abroad and national security institutions.
  • Security Advocacy: Addressing the unique safety challenges faced by Nigerian youths globally.
  • Policy Alignment: Working with the National Director General to execute programs that harmonize diaspora contributions with Nigeria’s national development goals.
Speaking on the appointment, the National Director General of CONYSSA, Amb. Ade Mario Emmanuel, emphasized the strategic importance of this new directorate.

“Dr. Olawale’s track record in grassroots empowerment and his visionary leadership are exactly what CONYSSA needs to bridge the gap between our youth at home and those in the diaspora. This is about proactive inclusion; ensuring every Nigerian youth, regardless of their location, is a stakeholder in our national security.”
