Why SON established Electronic Demand Note, Electronic Receipts

EDER is the digitalization of the existing payment and receipt collection procedure. For SON to provide you with any service, the pricing is set, and they issue you a demand. Following the demand, the Demand Note will be electronic rather than manual receipts.

That electronic platform is then linked to Remita, so the bank is already aware of what you paid for before anyone gets to the bank. As a result, the Remita platform will send a message to the electronic receipt platform, and you will receive your receipt electronically.

The customer/client will no longer be moving from office to office to collect receipts. For example, in Apapa (Lagos), your services will be supplied, but you will have to go to the bank to pay and then return to the same office, which is inconvenient.

However, the Demand Note will now be issued to you in the comfort of your own home, you will make payment electronically from the comfort of your own home, you will receive the receipt from the comfort of your own home, and your products or services will be delivered from the comfort of your own home. This electronic ONE-STOP-SHOP innovation aims to simplify transactions for people doing business with SON. There are ramifications because you will also have a charter.

For example, if you request a service in SON, you will be able to immediately identify and track the process because there are costs that are not automatically established because they are a function of range.

You must upload the supporting documentation that would justify that pricing range as a function of range. As a result, someone must examine the user department to ensure that what he enters is correct.
