The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, challenged the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Sunday to complete the Abuja metro line as soon as possible.

President Tinubu delivered the charge while speaking at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Annual General Conference in Abuja.

The President emphasized the importance of the project by telling the FCT Minister that he wished to travel on the Abuja metro line and asked him to complete the project for the better good of Nigerians.

“I could see our chief host, the landlord of Abuja. Stick at it, I want to ride on your metro line.

“If I ask for free land, don’t give me, but deliver the metro line for the good and greatest number of Nigerians.”
