BREAKING: Hoodlums break into Ondo prison

Another prison-break has occurred as hoodlums on Thursday, October 22, 2020, forcefully released the inmates at the National Correctional Service Centre in Okitipupa, the headquarters of Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State.

It was gathered that no fewer than 58 inmates were released during the attack while a vehicle was burnt and several items were destroyed on the premises of the prison.

There has been confirmation of the incident from the Public Relations Officer of the Ondo State Command of NCS, Ogundare Babatunde.
