APC Stakeholders Launch ‘Renewed Hope Network’ to Drive Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Bid

Key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have adopted the Renewed Hope Network (TRN) as a strategic vehicle to mobilize nationwide support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential polls.

The decision followed a high-level meeting between leaders of more than 1,500 registered APC support groups and the TRN technical team. The team was led by seasoned party mobilizer Okpokwu Ogenyi and diplomat Tunji John Asaolu.

Speaking on the development, Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, Ak Peters, disclosed that the TRN initiative is being powered by Abdulaziz Yari, positioning it as a major grassroots mobilization platform for the ruling party.

According to Peters, the network has already begun early-stage operations, including the deployment of polling unit canvassers across the country—an effort aimed at strengthening voter engagement ahead of the January 16, 2027 presidential election.

He described the acceptance level of the TRN as “unprecedented,” noting that the APC Support Groups Council could not afford to remain on the sidelines of what he termed a rapidly expanding political movement.

Peters further revealed that out of over 3,500 registered APC support groups nationwide, at least 1,500 have formally aligned with the TRN, with expectations that an additional 2,000 groups will join before Easter.

He emphasized that the network is building a robust nationwide structure designed to secure a decisive victory for President Tinubu, adding that all efforts would be directed toward ensuring his swearing-in for a second term on May 29, 2027.

“The TRN is committed to creating the most formidable grassroots political movement within a short time,” Peters said, expressing confidence in the leadership and mobilization capacity driving the initiative.
