APC Leaders Back Tinubu: “No Distractions Can Derail Renewed Hope Agenda”

ABUJA — The All Progressives Congress (APC) North-Central Chairmen Forum has pledged unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration, insisting that no distractions will derail its transformative policies.

The forum, led by its chairman and Kwara APC boss, Mr. Sunday Fagbemi, stated this on Thursday in Abuja during a condolence visit to the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, who recently lost his mother at age 83.

Fagbemi, speaking on behalf of the state chairmen, said the Tinubu administration was anchored on four pillars — democracy, development, demographics, and diaspora engagement — and was already making measurable progress despite challenges.

“By the grace of God, we have seen some progress and development; we have seen President Tinubu weathering the storm. Even the opposition has admitted that four years is not enough to fix the scattered and tattered ship,” Fagbemi said.

According to him, the administration has made significant strides in economic recovery and infrastructure, with food prices beginning to drop due to diversification efforts. He stressed that the chairmen were focused on delivering Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and would not allow political distractions ahead of the 2027 elections.

Also speaking, Dr. Aliyu Bello, APC Chairman in Nasarawa State, urged Nigerians to continue supporting the Tinubu-led government, noting that governors across even opposition-controlled states had commended the administration’s reforms, particularly the increase in federal allocations.

“The bold steps taken by our leader, President Tinubu, are yielding results. Nigeria is good to go for the APC because nation-building is an ongoing project. We cannot finish everything in one term,” Bello said.

He added that insecurity in the North-Central was being addressed head-on, stressing that the challenge was not peculiar to the region or Nigeria.

“With God on our side, we will overcome the situation before long,” he assured.
