Activist Aisha Yesufu has declared that the war against Boko Haram and other terrorists will only come to an end when Nigeria has a “Commander-in-Chief” who takes decisive action.
Yesufu made the assertion in a post on X, while reacting to a viral video showing Nigerian Army surveillance capturing Boko Haram’s movements without alerting soldiers on the ground.
“The day Nigeria gets a Commander-in-Chief, the war against Boko Haram and the other terrorists will be properly tackled! Until then, the terrorists will continue to mock us, it is well,” she wrote.
Her statement comes amid reports that Boko Haram insurgents invaded a military base in Borno, with surveillance footage showing their movement but no immediate response from the troops.
