ADC Denies Appointing South-West Chairman, Dismisses Reports as False

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed reports suggesting that it has appointed or is preparing to inaugurate a South-West chairman, describing the claims as false and misleading.

In a statement shared on X, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, clarified that no such appointment has been made by the party.

“This is to inform the general public that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has not appointed any South-West Chairman,” Abdullahi stated.

He further emphasized that the party has no plans to inaugurate anyone into the position at this time.

“Furthermore, the ADC is not inaugurating any South-West Chairman at this time,” he added.

Abdullahi urged members of the public and party supporters to disregard the circulating reports, warning against acting on unverified information, which he said does not reflect the official position of the ADC.
