Bwala Challenges Amaechi to Reveal Alleged Confidential Conversation After Atiku Exit

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has challenged former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, to publicly disclose the details of an alleged private conversation they had after Bwala parted ways with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Amaechi made the remark during an interview on Channels Television, where he reminded Bwala not to forget a confidential discussion they shared before the presidential aide changed his position on the Tinubu administration.

The former Rivers State governor said he deliberately withheld the details of the conversation out of respect for its confidential nature.

Responding in a post on his official X account on Wednesday, Bwala dismissed the need for secrecy and gave Amaechi the go-ahead to make the conversation public.

“My attention was drawn to an interview wherein you said when I left Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, you called me and I told you something which you refused to tell @seunokin because you claimed it was confidential.

“I, Daniel Bwala, hereby give you the permission to please tell the whole world,” Bwala wrote.

The exchange marks the latest public war of words between key political figures ahead of the 2027 political season.
