The All Progressives Congress (APC) is positioning itself for a strong political resurgence in Kano State, as Kano Central Senatorial aspirant, Abdulkareem Abdussalam Zaura, popularly known as AA Zaura, has declared the party fully prepared for victory.

Speaking on Sunday while receiving supporters backing his senatorial ambition, Zaura expressed confidence in the party’s structure and leadership, describing the APC as more formidable than ever.

“In Kano, we are battle-ready and we have a very strong team at the helm of party affairs. We shall return here to celebrate APC’s success from top to bottom,” he said.

Zaura also highlighted what he described as the transformation within the ruling party, referring to it as “APC Pro Max” to emphasize its renewed strength and influence.

“The APC of today is not the same as yesterday. By God’s grace, we have everything it takes to make a difference, and we will succeed,” he added.

Also speaking, the APC Kano State Chairman, Umar Haruna Doguwa, commended the quality of individuals supporting Zaura’s ambition, noting their credibility and grassroots political strength.

“The calibre of people in this entourage are exceptional—trustworthy and reliable in grassroots politics. We will ensure that the right thing is done. Someone with quality and integrity must not be overlooked,” Doguwa stated.

He further expressed optimism about the party’s electoral chances, asserting that the APC remains the strongest political force in the country.

“We have already achieved nine out of ten requirements needed to win an election. If you are not in the APC, you are on your own—you are already a loser,” he said.

The statements reflect growing confidence within the APC ranks in Kano, as political activities begin to intensify ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
