A significant number of voters turned out early at Garki Village Polling Unit 004, forming long queues as they awaited their turn to cast their ballots.

Among the early voters was the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), who exercised his civic responsibility amid visible security presence at the polling centre. Electoral officials were on ground to coordinate the process and ensure compliance with voting guidelines.

Officials at the unit appealed to voters to remain orderly and adhere strictly to laid-down procedures to guarantee a smooth and transparent exercise.

Meanwhile, voting also commenced at Garki Village Polling Unit 036 at approximately 8:30 a.m., with security personnel deployed to maintain order and monitor activities.

Balloting is expected to continue throughout the day, after which results will be collated and officially announced by the relevant electoral authorities upon completion of vote counting.
