Malami, Son Plead Not Guilty to 16-Count Money Laundering Charge

Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, his son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, and an associate have pleaded not guilty to a 16-count charge of alleged money laundering.

The defendants appeared before the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday, facing accusations of unlawful acquisition and concealment of funds.

The court has adjourned the trial, with proceedings set to continue as it considers the charges.
