In a significant political development, six members of the House of Representatives from Rivers State have officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defections occurred on Tuesday during plenary, DAILY POST reports, marking a notable realignment ahead of upcoming political contests.
The lawmakers, reportedly loyalists of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, include Hon. Solomon Bob, Hon. Victor Obuzor, Hon. Dumnamene Dekor, Hon. Cyril Hart, Hon. Blessing Amadi, and Hon. Felix Nwaeke.
