Abuja, Nigeria – The Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ali Dalori, has called for unity among party members following the resignation of former National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
Dalori made the appeal during a statement on Thursday, urging members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and other stakeholders to remain focused and avoid divisive rhetoric or actions in the wake of Ganduje’s departure.
“Political transitions often create uncertainty, but we must not allow it to breed disunity,” Dalori said. “We must avoid actions and words that divide us and focus on what binds us — our shared belief in the promise of Nigeria and the future of the APC.”
He revealed that he would soon unveil a practical roadmap to steer the party during this interim period, with emphasis on discipline, reconciliation, communication, member mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement.
Dalori, who assumed the chairmanship role in line with the APC constitution and with the backing of President Bola Tinubu, assured members of his commitment to upholding the party’s values and ensuring internal stability.
He also extended well wishes to Ganduje, who stepped down from his position, praying for his speedy recovery and acknowledging his significant contributions to the growth of the party.
As the APC navigates this leadership transition, Dalori’s message comes as a timely call for cohesion and collective responsibility to preserve the party’s strength ahead of future political challenges.
