2027: Accord Urges Nigerians to Unite for Better Leadership

0

The Accord Party has said the 2027 general election will provide Nigerians another opportunity to unite and elect credible leaders capable of putting the country on the path of progress.

The party made the call while informing members about an updated link for its ongoing nationwide electronic membership registration and revalidation exercise.

In a statement signed by its National Chairman, Barrister Maxwell Mgbudem, the party stressed that the upcoming elections offer Nigerians a chance to work together in building a stronger and more prosperous nation.

According to the statement, “The upcoming elections provide another opportunity for people to come together and collaborate in creating a strong, healthy, forward-looking, successful and fair democratic nation.”

“It’s time to build a better and more prosperous Nigeria that future generations can take pride in,” the party added.

Accord also advised members who have already completed the electronic registration and revalidation process not to repeat the exercise.

The party explained that the notice became necessary following an update of the link used for the ongoing nationwide membership e-registration.

It assured members who registered on the previous platform that their membership remains valid and that they do not need to sign up again, provided they supplied the correct National Identification Number (NIN).

“Their data will be included in the new platform,” the statement noted.

Accord further directed ward, local government and zonal leaders to mobilise members across the country to participate in the exercise and ensure proper registration of Nigerians, including those in the diaspora who wish to join the party.

The party added that it remains a viable platform for Nigerians interested in contesting various positions in the 2027 general elections.
