Osimhen Thriving at Galatasaray Amid Transfer Talks

Victor Osimhen is enjoying a successful spell at Galatasaray, expressing his satisfaction with his move to the Turkish giants after a brace in their 5-1 demolition of Kayserispor on Saturday. The Nigerian striker, currently on loan from Napoli, opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the fourth minute before adding his second in the second half, taking his tally to 12 goals and 5 assists in just 15 appearances across all competitions.

“I think it was very important to come to this team and be a part of this big club,” Osimhen told Express UK. “They made me feel at home. I adapted very easily with Baris, Yunus, Gabi, and Dries. I learned their game quickly. I was happy to be able to help. We are undefeated in Europe, and we must continue step by step as we go on our way in the Super Lig.”

The 25-year-old’s remarkable form has been instrumental in Galatasaray’s rise to the top of the Super Lig standings, where they now lead with 44 points from 16 matches, holding an eight-point advantage. His contributions have also helped the team remain one of seven unbeaten sides in the Europa League.

Despite mounting interest from top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Osimhen has reaffirmed his commitment to Galatasaray. “I will not leave in January. I am at Galatasaray until the end of the season,” he confirmed. “I do not know what Galatasaray and Napoli are talking about afterwards, but if they come to me, we will talk. Galatasaray is a nice club that I like very much.”

The striker’s €75 million release clause could pose a challenge for potential suitors, with Manchester United’s new manager Ruben Amorim reportedly keen on bringing him to Old Trafford to address their scoring issues. However, for now, Osimhen’s focus remains firmly on his mission at Galatasaray, where his performances continue to inspire both fans and teammates alike.
