Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been presented with a jaw-dropping contract proposal from Saudi giants Al Hilal, as the striker edges closer to a summer exit from the Italian club.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles star, who played a key role in Napoli’s historic Serie A title win two seasons ago, spent the last campaign on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray. Now, he is evaluating several offers as he prepares to leave the Naples-based club on a permanent basis.
According to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Al Hilal have returned with an improved contract offer worth an astonishing £34 million per year — totaling close to £140 million over a potential four-year deal.
Osimhen had previously rejected multiple advances from the Saudi Pro League side, but the latest offer could prove difficult to turn down. If accepted, it would instantly place him among the highest-paid footballers globally.
Napoli are open to a sale, provided his £64 million release clause is met.
The transfer saga continues as Osimhen weighs his next move in what could be a record-breaking chapter of his career.
