Galatasaray have reportedly issued a one-week deadline to Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to decide whether he will extend his stay at the Turkish champions or return to Napoli when his loan spell ends in June.
According to Turkish outlet A Spor, the club has urged the 26-year-old forward to communicate his decision within seven days to enable them to finalize their summer transfer plans ahead of the new season.
Osimhen, who played a pivotal role in helping Galatasaray secure the 2023/24 Turkish Super Lig title, has attracted interest from several top European and Middle Eastern clubs, including English Premier League side Chelsea and Saudi giants Al-Hilal.
The former Lille star joined Galatasaray last summer on a season-long loan from Serie A side Napoli. With his long-term future still uncertain, Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli permanently this summer. However, he has yet to publicly declare which club he intends to join for the 2024/25 season.
Galatasaray remain keen on retaining his services, but are demanding clarity as they move swiftly to structure their squad for the upcoming campaign.
