Jurgen Klopp beat Chelsea’s Frank Lampard, Leicester City’s Brendan Rodgers and Sheffield United’s Chris Wilder as he has been named Premier League Manager of the Season after leading Liverpool to their first league title in three decades.
Liverpool ended their 30-year wait for an English top-flight title after a title-wining campaign though they narrowly lost 18 points out to their closest challengers Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Klopp also coached Liverpool to the Champions League trophy in the 2018/19 season, altogether, in doing so, Liverpool became reigning European, World and Premier League champions.
It is however a double celebration for the club as Trent Alexander-Arnold won the Premier League Young Player of the Season award for the 2019/20 campaign on Friday.
