Manchester United legend Gary Neville has highlighted Arsenal as Liverpool’s biggest competition for the Premier League title, despite the Reds being the clear favourites to lift the trophy this season. Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville acknowledged Chelsea’s strong campaign but predicted Arsenal could pose a serious challenge, particularly if they close the gap with Liverpool in the latter months of the season.
Liverpool currently lead the Premier League, four points clear at the top after their dominant 6-3 victory over Tottenham. Arsenal also impressed with a 5-1 win over Crystal Palace, while Chelsea, in second, were held to a goalless draw at Everton.
Neville emphasized that while Chelsea are enjoying a solid season, Arsenal, with a strong finish in sight, could become Liverpool’s main threat in the race for the title.
