Cristiano dos Santos, the eldest son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his first-ever call-up to the Portugal Under-15 national team.
The 14-year-old forward, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr — just like his father — has previously spent time at Manchester United and Juventus youth academies, both clubs where Ronaldo made his mark.
He will represent the Selecao U-15 side at the prestigious Vlatko Markovic Youth Tournament, set to take place in Croatia from May 13 to 18, where Portugal will face Japan, Greece, and England in the group stage.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 40, continues to play for Portugal and remains Real Madrid’s all-time leading goal scorer. He led his country to victory at Euro 2016, securing Portugal’s first major international trophy, despite being subbed off due to injury in the final against France.
The football icon has five children, with Cristiano Jr. now stepping into the global spotlight as he begins to chart his own path in the beautiful game.
