Club Brugge secured a stunning 3-1 victory over Atalanta in Italy on Tuesday, sealing a 5-2 aggregate win to advance to the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
Holding a 2-1 advantage from the first leg, the Belgian side dominated the first half, with Chemsdine Talbi scoring twice and Ferran Jutgla adding another. Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman pulled one back after missing a penalty, but it wasn’t enough to spark a comeback.
Club Brugge will now face either Lille or Aston Villa in the next round.
