Jigawa State Governor, Umar Namadi, has affirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can expect the continued support of Jigawa citizens in the 2027 elections.
Speaking at the official launch of the distribution of ATM cards to beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s second phase of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program in Dutse, Governor Namadi commended President Tinubu’s administration for its commitment to poverty alleviation and social welfare.
He highlighted the various initiatives under the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), including Cash Transfer, N-Power, School Feeding, and the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP), which are aimed at improving the livelihoods of Nigerians.
“In this second phase of the Conditional Cash Transfer program, approximately 23,000 less privileged individuals in Jigawa State will each receive ₦75,000,” the governor announced. “This initiative aligns with President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Initiative,’ which seeks to uplift the economically disadvantaged and support small businesses.”
Governor Namadi emphasized the culture of gratitude among Jigawa citizens, suggesting that the people of the state would reciprocate the Federal Government’s efforts in the upcoming elections.
“Our people have a good culture of repaying good deeds with good. I am confident that Jigawa residents will appreciate and reciprocate the positive impact of these programs,” he stated.
He further extended his appreciation to President Tinubu’s administration on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressing confidence that more social welfare programs would be introduced to enhance the well-being of Jigawa’s citizens.
Reaffirming his administration’s dedication to policies that promote economic empowerment and social development, Governor Namadi pledged to continue working in synergy with the Federal Government to ensure Jigawa State thrives under President Tinubu’s leadership.
