Aliero Reaffirms Loyalty to APC

Senator Muhammad Adamu Aliero has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), its leadership, and the administration of Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris.

Reacting to recent comments attributed to one Tijani, which allegedly suggested his disapproval of certain individuals within the party, Senator Aliero described the claims as false and misleading.

In a statement released by his media office in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, Aliero reiterated his loyalty to the APC, praising the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Idris.

“I stand firmly with the APC and our esteemed leaders, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris,” he stated. “Their visionary leadership and dedication to progress have uplifted Kebbi State and set a benchmark for governance in Nigeria.”

Senator Aliero was among three sitting senators from Kebbi State who recently returned to the APC from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alongside Senator Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North) and Senator Garba Maidoki (Kebbi South).

The high-profile defections sparked major political realignments across the state and are widely interpreted as a strategic move to consolidate the APC’s strength ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Aliero credited the state’s developmental strides to the unified efforts of the APC leadership and called on party members and supporters to stay focused.

“The progress we are seeing is due to the hard work and commitment of our leaders. I urge all stakeholders to remain united and work together for the good of our state,” he said.
