Kwara state-born Nigerian-American, Oye Owolewa has emerged as the First Nigerian USA Congressman in the USA House of Representatives.
He wins the USA Congressional seat representing the Washington DC metropolis in the USA House of Representatives in a landslide win over his Republican opponent to represent Washington DC and all Nigerians in the USA diaspora.
Although, it was a long aduous campaign, but in the end, it paid off.
Oye Owolewa’s parents are from Omu-Aran in Irepodun LGA Kwara State.
